Description Although the locality in New Zealand where this species was collected and named after is called LytteLton, Hartamnn (1982) published the new species (and also the locality name) with the "L" in the worng position: Procythereis (Serratocythere) lyttletonensis. Therefore, the correct species name is Procythereis lyttletonensis, not Procythereis lytteltonensis.
