Description Carapace moderate in size for genus, subrhomboidal, with networks of crest (coarser than normal reticulation) and distinct ventral ridge.
In lateral view, carapace subrhomboidal, more or less converged posteriorly. Greatest length at mid-height and greatest height near anterior third. Dorsal margin concave; anterior third distinctly convex and remaining nearly straight. Ventral margin straight for major part, upturned near anterior and posterior extremities. Anterior margin broadly rounded; meet dorsal and ventral margins with narrowly rounded angle. Posterior margin narrower, blunt caudal process posteriorly in lower half.
Surface with networks of crests; rather fine in anterodorsal part, coarser in posterior half. Ventral ridge developed, terminated in distinct spine. Denticles developed along posterior end, especially prominent in its lower half. No eye and subcentral tubercles very distinct. [details]

Taxonomy Benson (1972) considered questionable the assigment of this species to the genus Bradleya.
