In 1971, however, he included this reference, without comment, in his synonymy of Cellanthus craticulatus [= Elphidium cratulatum]."
Whittaker and Hodgkinson (1979), who noticed Hofker's change of opinion, do not list Cushman (1933) reference in their synonymy of C. craticulatus.
