Diagnosis Test free, elongate, flaring, with lozengeshaped cross section and truncated margins that may form a distinct ridge at each angle, early stage planispirally enrolled, later biserial, with elevated ridge along the zigzag suture between the two rows of biserial chambers; wall finely agglutinated, solid and noncanaliculate; aperture a slit or low arch at the base of the final chamber.
