Diagnosis Test planispiral, later may be uncoiled and rectilinear to flabelliform; chambers in adult may be cylindrical, annular or flattened; wall calcareous, probably originally porcelaneous, imperforate; aperture generally multiple; may vary in position in ontogeny.
