Original description Diagnosis. Test free, lenticular to biumbilicate, possibly slightly fared, with a rounded margin. It is formed by a globular proloculus followed by few, planispirally to slightly streptospirally coiled whorls, each with an increasing number of chambers. Chamber interior superficially subdivided by beams. Aperture single, rounded, with a position and morphology changing through ontogeny, from simple basal (without peristomal rim) to subareal bordered by a peristomal rim. Wall calcareous porcelaneous, surface with fine ornamentation (striae). [details]
