Diagnosis Test elongate, subfusiform, rounded to oval in section, chambers biserially arranged, axis may be slightly curved but not enrolled in the early stage, chambers strongly oblique, broad and low as seen from the dorsal side but more strongly overlapping and inflated on the ventral side, sutures oblique, flush to slightly depressed; wall calcareous, hyaline, optically granular, finely perforate, surface smooth and polished; aperture an elongate, subterminal loop, extending up the face of the final chamber.
