Original description Diagnosis: Small, axially compressed shells with the characteristics of the Alveolinidae. Septula alternating in position from one chamber to the next one. Two rows of foramina, a lower one corresponding to the chamberlets and an upper one providing communication with a row of alveoles in the next chamber alternating with the chamberlets. No supplemental intercalar chamberlets in spite of the height of the chambers in the equatorial zone of the shell. Nepiont a glomerulus in both generations. Dimorphism poorly developed.
