The foraminifer Eoparastaffella Vdovenko 1954 is widely used as stratigraphic marker for the Lower Visean of Dinant Basin. Eoparastaffella well developed in Guilin area confirms the lineage Palaeoparastaffella gen.nov. -Eoparastaffella-Pseudoendothyra for early Fusulinids. On the basis of the population composition, biotope and reproductive isolation of the taxa of the three genera in Guilin this paper detailed all process of their genealogical line. The tournaisian-Visean boundary is discussed by the first appearance of primitive Eoparastaffella rotunda Vdovenko within the phylogentic evolution of Palaeoparastaffella shifendongensis group (taxon nov.) to Eo. rotunda considered as the base of Visean, and to recommend the base of the 2m limestone (F7) below Levitusia bed of Daxiu section as a new T-V boundary stratotype.
