The present paper deals with the abundant fusulinids which were collected from the section of Marping Group exposed at Dala of Panxian County Guizhou Province. 93 species and subspecies belonging to 24 different genera are described. One of them is a new genus and 14 are new species. These fusulinid faunas can be distinctly divided into 5 zones and 2 subzones. Description of new genus: Quasitriticites (gen. nov.) Shell of medium size, fusiform, 6 to 8 volutions with a form ratio about 2. Inner 2 to 6 volutions tightly coiled, the followed volution suddenly expanded (the rate of expansion of this volution is about 3 or more, this value is approximate to that of Pseudoschwagerina). Spirotheca is composed of a tectum and a keriotheca. Septa fluted only in the extreme polar regions of the shell. Chomata developed, tunnel singular and the path straight. Proloculus minute and spherical.Type species: Quasitriticites guizhouensis (gen. et sp. nov.) Remarks. The character of Quasitriticites is between Triticites and Pseudo-schwagerina. Quasitriticites can be distinguished from Triticites by the height of the outer volution rapidly increasing. It differs from Pseudoschwagerina by the well-developed chomata, small proloculus and no longer tightly coiled in the ultimate volution. This genus contains some species or specimens that had been referred to Triticites, Pseudoschwagerina and Montiparus.Distribution: Quasilriticites is widespread in the zone of Triticites of China, Japan, U.S.S.R. and American.
