Description Test nautiloid, with endothyroid coiling, morphologically similar to a Globoendothyra, but a bilayered wall with a black tectum and a darkgrey, thicker, inner layer.
Occurrence: Late TournaisianVisean of oblast Altai-Sayan (Russia); Visean of the Omi area (this study). Omolon and Kolyma massifs (Russia); Visean (Okian) of oblast Volga-Urals (Russia); Visean (V2b) of French-Belgian Basin; Visean (Keokuk) of North America; Visean and Serpukhovian of western Taymyr (Russia) (all references from Bogush, 1987). Late Serpukhovian of Morocco (Central Meseta; Cózar et al., 2011) and northern Spain (Cózar et al., 2018). Biozones 5 (Zapaltjubian/Voznesenian) and 10 (Tashastian) of Akiyoshi area.
