Status Mortensen (1951: 404) say: "In the preliminary reports on the Echinoids of the "Albatross" 1902 and 1906 Agassiz & Clark separated a number of specimens as Brissopsis Oldhami Alcock, one specimen being made a new species, circosemita; but in his work of 1917 Clark has arrived at the result that both Oldhami and circosemita are indistinguishable from luzonica [...] I think it likewise fairly certain that Le Monnieri and circosemita cannot be distinguished from luzonica" [details]
