Introduction begins: "A collection of maldanid polychaetes made by Dr. Liliana Forneris in Brazil was recently placed at my disposal. The collection contains three species from shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of the Marine Laboratory of the Instituto Oceanografico of the Universidade de São Paulo at Ubatuba, Brazil (S. Lat. 23° 30', W. Long. 45°). Descriptions of two new species and notes on a poorly known third follow below.
