Taxonomic remark The genus Stylactaria was redefined by Miglietta & Cunninham (2012) based on molecular phylogenies and comprises now also St. fucicola, type species of Stylactis Allman, 1864c. The latter genus name, however, has precedence over Stylactaria when both are available for the same clade. [details]
