Authority Under ICZN Art. 13.1, the name Talostolida is not available (no diagnosis) from Iredale, 1931, Records of the Australian Museum, 18(4): 219, 233; nor from Schilder, 1936, Proceedings of the Malacological Society of London, 22(2): 84; nor from Schilder & Schilder, 1938, Proceedings of the Malacological Society of London, 23(3): 168. Schilder (1936) and Schilder & Schilder (1938) attributed Talostolida to Iredale, 1931, who fixed the type species. Schilder (1939) diagnosed Talostolida, which was then cited without author and date, and did not cite the type species. [details]
