Colour: Adult: head, nape and mantle white with a grey wash; dark brown back and upper surface of wings; under surface of wing white with a wide dark brown leading edge and tip, and very fine dark brown trailing edge; under-parts white; tail feathers dark brown. Bill black with a yellow culmen and pinkish tip; legs and feet bluish with pink webs; immature: like adult except white head and dark bill. Habitat: Open ocean. <388><391><393> [details]
