Publication date The name Sepiola atlantica appears on page 235, published in 1845. However it appeared first in the legend of Sepiola pl. 4, published somewhere between 1839 and 1842, i.e. 1842 under Art. 21.3 and 21.6 of the ICZN Code.[details]
