Editor's comment Was recorded at WoRMS as a junior synonym of Tomopteris (Johnstonella) pacifica (Izuka, 1914) but this is obviously not possible on priority unless there was a problem with the Tomopteris elegans Chun, 1887 name, which does not seem to be the case.
