Classification This species was not mentioned by Van Soest (2002: 597) when he reassigned Lundbeck's species of Iotrochota to genus Iotroata. However, on p. 600, Van Soest stated that all Lundbeck's North Atlantic species of Iotrochota are referred to Iotroata which implictly means that also the present species is a Iotroata should be included.
