Firemore Bay (Gaineahm Smuagh) Loch Ewe on the west coast of Scotland (described by McIntyre & Eleftheriou, 1968). Type material collected along traverse 2 (McIntyre & Eleftheriou, 1968), 212 m from its origin in the high tidal region. The collection was made at 5-12 cm depth, in sand of 220 µm mean grain diameter at a tidal height just above low water neaps.
