A new species, Pseudosyllides balearica n.sp. (Polychaeta: Syllidae) has been discovered from Spanish Mediterranean coasts (Balearic Islands). The description is given. Notes on genus Pseudosyllides and a comparative table between P. balearica and P. curacaoensis are included in this paper.
