Description Trocholinopsis ornata (Sidebottom, 1908) from the Brazilian continental margin.
1a, 1b and 1c: spiral, edge and umbilical views - 1a) pores with raised edges along the spiral suture; 1b) visible low cone shape outline with a peripheral keel, and the ellipsoidal section of the tubular chamber; 1c) knobs arranged radially. 2a, 2b and 2c: spiral, edge, and umbilical views of a juvenile specimen. 3a, 3b and 3c: spiral and umbilical view with (3b) and without (3c) immersion in water, of a specimen under optical microscopy.
