Taxonomic remark Camallanus goaensis from a mackerel from Panaji, Goa, described by the present author (1981) as new, comes close to the above species in almost every respect excepting in the number of caudal papillae which are obscured in both the cases, only 7 pairs, 3 preanal, 1 adanal, and 3 postanal being discernible (versus 8 pairs, 6 preanal and 2 postanal in surmai). [details]
