A new species of proboscis worms, Tortus tokmakovae, is described which populates the littoral of the Peter the Great Bay. The species is characterized by the high variability of the proboscis armament and body coloration. The species reproduces in early May, the fertilization is external. The development is direct without the pelagic larva stage. The new species resembles most of all T. curilensis Korotk.
