Comparison The genus differs from other solitary genera in its microstructure with thick lateral axes diverging from the median septal zone, and their alternate arrangement on the septal sides. [details]

Description Cuif 1975: 318-324 described micromorphology and microstructure of the type species based on the holotype and topotypes. [details]

Diagnosis Solitary. Calice subcircular with short axial fossa. The septa spindle-like, with maximum thickness in S1 septa shifted from the wall axialward. Septal faces covered with thick granules. Dissepiments vesiculous, small, and abundant. Epitheca pellicular. [details]

Remark Above 5 species have been described, in this number four species from the Carnian of the Dolomites. [details]
