RAMS Cumacea

The Cumaceans species list was compiled, checked and updated by Dr Ute Muehlenhardt-Siegel (Zoological Museum Hamburg, RAMS Taxonomic Editor) and Dr Les Watling (University of Hawaii at Manoa). The list has been extracted from the Cumacea world database and uploaded in RAMS. Classification has been added and/or made consistent with information avalable from ERMS (European Register of Marine Species), and synonymy checked.

It is intended that this register, managed through the SCAR-MarBIN project, will provide the most up to date information on the marine diversity of Antarctica. When constructed this website will be linked to the Oceanic Biology Information System (OBIS) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
