Description Description: arm length to 4 cm, disc diameter to 9 mm. Disc completely covered with granules, otherwise similar to O. fallax. Colour pale yellowish or brown; arms banded. Habitat: under rocks and coral rubble. General distribution: from the Red Sea to Hawaii and SE Polynesia (Tortonese, 1980); tropical, Indo-Pacific Ocean, depth range 0-74 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995); WIO, Red Sea to W Pacific (Richmond, 1998). According to A.M. Clark (1984) this species has only been recorded from the Mascarenes and Seychelles, but not East Africa.
Also recorded in Maldive area, East Indies, north Australia, Philippine, South Pacific Is. and Hawaiian Is. (Clark & Rowe, 1971); Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995).

Description Description: arm length to 4 cm, disc diameter to 9 mm. Disc completely covered with granules, otherwise similar to O. fallax. Colour pale yellowish or brown; arms banded. Habitat: under rocks and coral rubble. General distribution: from the Red Sea to Hawaii and SE Polynesia (Tortonese, 1980); tropical, Indo-Pacific Ocean, depth range 0-74 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995); WIO, Red Sea to W Pacific (Richmond, 1998). According to A.M.
