Classification Contrary to Maxwell (2009) and Marshall & Spencer (2013), who placed this species in Linucula, Huber (2015) assigned it to Nucula (Lamellinucula). These opinions are based on the analysis of shell morphology alone, but Maxwell and Marshall & Spencer based their opinions on direct comparison with the type species of Linucula. [details]
