Diagnosis Test enrolled, early stage streptospiral, later nearly planispiral but somewhat oscillating, chambers inflated, septa oblique, aligned with the curvature of the outer wall; wall calcareous, three layers, a distinct dark tectum, clear diaphanotheca, dark inner layer, and possibly an additional one, secondary deposits form a low continuous layer on the chamber floors, thickening in the chamber corners, a prominent forward directed spinelike projection in the final chamber; aperture a low basal slit.
