Type locality Off Cedros Island, 26.3 mi. 273.5ºT from Natividad Island light, Baja California, Mexico, Pacific Ocean (27º54'25''N, 115º40'00''W), 942-957 fathoms (= 1722.7-1750.2 m), green mud with foraminiferans. [details]
