Etymology Authors: Alaysia solwarawarriors is named for "the Alliance of Solwara Warriors for their critical role in protecting the deep-sea ecosystems of the region, as well as the environmental and cultural interests of local communities in Papua New Guinea and the surrounding provinces." Unchanging noun in apposition.
The Alliance of Solwara Warriors is a coalition of communities from Papua New Guinea, the Bismarck and Solomon Seas, and other parts of the Pacific who have joined forces to demand a moratorium on seabed mining in this area. [details]
