Oriopsis bicincta sp. n. is described from Peter the Great Bay of the Sea of Japan. The body has 8-9 abdominal segments. A postsetal girdle of glands on the second setiger and a glandular convex ring on the third abdominal segment are present. The collar is smooth, ventrally reduced. Thoracic notopodia contain subspatulate setae.
