[None. From introduction:]
From the materials collected by Ekman-Birge grab sampler through the investigations of Seto-Inland Sea, two new species were found out. Up to the present only three species belonged to the Pilargiidae (Ancistrosyllis gracilis Hessle, Otopsis longipes pacifica Uschakov and Pilargis verrucosa pacifica Zachs) have been recorded from the adjacent waters of Japan. The present species differs from all of them and other species of the Pilargiidae.
The author is indebted to Dr. T. Hanaoka, Director of the Inland Sea Regional Fisheries Research Laboratory and to Dr. H. Utinomi of the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory, Kyoto University, for their kind guidance and he wishes to acknowledge the cooperation given by the staff of the Inland Sea Regional Fisheries Research Laboratory.
