Five new species of Onuphis (Polychaeta: Onuphidae) are described. Three, O. (Nothria) australatlantica, O. (N.) heterodentata, and O. (N.) lithobiformis come from southern Atlantic waters; the other two, O. (Onuphis) declivorum, and O. (O.) texana are from the east coast of the United States.
