Grammatical gender 'dolabra' is a feminine Latin noun, but 'dolabrus' is not a Latin word as listed in classical dictionaries, and should be considered as an arbitrary combination of letters. It is not an adjective and should remain invariable, i.e., it cannot be 'mandatorily' changed to the noun 'dolabra' as if in gender agreement. An adjectival equivalent would have been dolabratus / dolabrata [G.Read Sept 2015]. [details]
