Editor's comment See the homonymy note for the genus entry for Protodrilus Czerniavsky for why Protodrilidae Czerniavsky, 1881 is a nomen dubium, although dated earlier than Hatzchek's creation of the same family name. See Protodrilidae Hatschek,1888 for the valid Protodrilus species. [details]
