A glossary of marine ecology and habitat mapping terminology has been started as a collaboration between GeoHab and The World Register of Marine Species. All terms are peer-reviewed by a committee of ecologists and geologists prior to publication. Comments and suggestions for rewording and additional terms to be included are welcomed from the scientific community.
