Diagnosis Test unilocular, flasklike, compressed, periphery broadly carinate, keel commonly with radiating tubules, struts, or reticulations and may extend completely around the periphery to invest the neck as well; wall calcareous, hyaline, radial, surface smooth or variously ornamented with longitudinal striae or fine ribs; aperture round to oval, terminal, at the end of a distinct neck, may have a thickened rim, provided with an entosolenian tube.
