Publication
The year of publication is unclear: (1) The paper version of the book says "Copyright 2013 by Walter de Gruyter GmbH". (2) The author B. Neuhaus received his paper copy of the book in December 2012. (3) The homepage https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.1515/9783110272536/html?lang=en says at the top "Published by De Gruyter 2013". (4) The homepage https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.1515/9783110272536/html?lang=en says at the right side "eBook Published: December 21, 2012 ISBN: 9783110272536. Hardcover Published: December 20, 2012 ISBN: 9783110219388". (5) The German National Library provides the publiction date as 2013, see https://portal.dnb.de/opac.htm?method=simpleSearch&query=handbook+of+zoology+kinorhyncha. - Basically it turned out that German publishers automatically schedule every book, which is supposed to come out after the German Book Mess in October, for the following year. Often it hapens that the book appears at the end of the ongoing year, and that is the date the publisher also puts on the homepage in addition to the intended date. B. Neuhaus suggests to take the date from the paper version of the book, 2013, because that is the only date that the reader can see when having the book physically at hand.
