Diagnosis: Cephalic plaque absent; cephalic keel and ciliated nuchal slits present. Segmental collars absent. Notopodial spines may be present in far posterior setigers. Neurosetae as avicular (terebelloid) uncini, arranged in single or double rows. Pygidium simple or adorned with papillae; anus terminal, without a ventral valve. (Fide Wolf, 1983) [details]
