Note Holotype from Gulf of Georgia (Strait of...
Type locality Holotype from Gulf of Georgia (Strait of Georgia?), station 4194, 111 to 170 fathoms. The geolocation of station 4194 is not given but it may be reported elsewhere. The Gulf of Georgia is apparently a disused older name (Wikipedia) but included all the inland waters beyond the eastern end of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, including Puget Sound, Bellingham Bay, the waters around the San Juan Islands, as well as the Strait of Georgia [details]
