Publication date Salazar-Vallejo & Jimi (2025) use the date of 1858 for Eurythoe chilensis Kinberg, 1857 (now Pareurythoe), apparently the reason they regard it as junior to Pareurythoe paupera (Grube, 1857). However, authoritatively Kinberg's short work appeared in 1857. Although the journal year volume for 1857 has a completion 1858 printer date, Théel (1910) dates Kinberg's 'Amphinomea' as 1857. It begins the volume. Also Kinberg himself uses the date of 1857 in his 1867 amphinomid article. Thus P. chilensis is probably not junior to P. paupera. [details]
