Status Warren et al (1994) could not confirm existence of filamentous branchiae due to the condition of the type series, and they consider the name a taxon inquirendum, with type material in poor condition (fide Warren et al, 1994). Bick & Zettler (2026: 64) re-validated the name and re-described the type material. They reported crystalline surface deposits on the holotype (only 4.4 mm long and fragmented) hampered observations. Paratypes were in better condition and the largest was 10.2 mm length.  [details]
