A record under this name from Burundi (Baribwegure & Segers, 2000)requires verification. It deviates from L. hastata (Murray) by a distinctly protruding foot plate, thereby resembling L. plesia Myers and L. eswari Dhanapathi. From these it deviates however, by length (relatively longer in L. plesia) and form of the relatively short claws, which are swollen at their bases (conical in L. eswari) . [details]
