Additional information Distribution includes countries with seacoasts, frequently under seaweed, but also Austria, Czech Republic, and Hungary, so is not a seashore specialist. Comment by Dr. J.H. Frank. [details]

Additional information Very small beetle with heavy puncture on pronotum and basal elytra and long hairs all over the dorsal surface. The species is usually found on sandy shores under seaweed. Comment by Bengt Andersson on image of beetle on Photo.net [details]
