Authority The name M. leskei has been traditionally attributed to Des Moulins, but Smith & Wright (2012: p. 653) pointed out that the Des Moulins referred to indeterminate specimens of unknown provenance figured by Klein (1734) and Leske (1778). According to them the first valid designation of the species is that of d'Orbigny (1855). [details]
