Oken (1807)wrote "Doto (Amphitr. alveolar)" by which he meant Amphitrite alveolar, but there are tenuous links from that Amphitrite combination (which may or may not have been used later in one of the Cuvier Animal Kingdom versions) to Sabella alveolata Linnaeus, 1767 [= Sabellaria]. The name Doto as in Oken (1807) seems to be a nomen nudum, but in any case it has been suppressed by ICZN Opinion 697.
