Ecology Scutigeromorphs are seen in coastal localities in various parts of the world. Scutigera coleoptrata has been collected amongst large pebbles just above HWM on Jersey (CI) and on the French Channel coast (Barber, 2006) [details]

Editor's comment Pallas (1772) writes of Julus araneiodes (Scutigera coleoptrata) as "insectum pelagicum ab amico mihi Navarcho quodam inter susceptos in Oceano Atlantico Fuci natatis fasiculos" [details]
