Note  Willey offered a better description and a new name for a harpacticoid, Canthocamptus douweanus Willey, 1934, to replace what he believed was a preoccupied name, C. douwei Willey, 1925. However, the alleged earlier name was C. vandouwei Kessler, 1914, not requiring substitution. Therefore, Willey’s earlier name stands and his later is but a footnote.  [details]
