Note  Nomenclature: This species name was originally attributed to Bosc by Lütken (1859), but when he realized (in: Lyman 1860) that his species was different from Bosc's, the name Amphiura cordifera had to be attributed to Lütken instead. At the same time he changed it to A. riisei. [details]
